How long does it take?

About 5 hours total. Time in the canyon is 2:00–2:30 hours, depending on the group and conditions. The rest covers pickup or meet-up, changing into gear, briefing, and changing back.

What age is this for?

Ages 8+. Suitable for first-timers and families.

Do I need to be fit?

No special fitness level is required. You should be able to walk on uneven ground and be comfortable getting wet. No prior rappelling experience needed.

What is included?

All certified technical gear (wetsuit, canyoning shoes, neoprene socks, helmet, harness, and rope equipment), safety insurance, permits, guides, an energy bar or chocolate, and free photos. Dressing room when available.

Pickup or meet at the canyon?

Pickup from hotel/Airbnb in Funchal or Caniço is included. Other areas on request (extra may apply). What should I bring?

Are jumps mandatory?
