Here’s the thing nobody tells you: nobody arrives fearless. Not the guests, not the guides. Fear just gets smaller every time you take one more step than it expected. Ribeira Funda happens to be one of our favourite places to watch that happen. Somewhere between the first rope and the last pool, people stop asking “am I able?” and start asking “can we do that again?”.
